How Green Worship raised N7.5m for vulnerable children –Wale Adenuga

The Green Worship team has presented a cheque of N7.5m, which were the proceeds from the latest edition of its concert, to select non-governmental organizations, targeted at vulnerable children and children with special needs.
The last edition witnessed amazing performances by top gospel artistes such as Michael Smith, Matt Redman, Nathaniel Bassey, Tim Hughes, Wale Adenuga, Dunsin Oyekan, Paul Baloche, Martin Smith, Glowreyah Braimah, Freke Umoh and Gbenga Adenuga.
The benefitting charities were Jakin NGO, Leprosy Mission Nigeria, Moyinoluwa Rainbow Foundation, Ikorodu Sickle Cell Club, Daughters of Charity St. Vincent de Paul, Abuja, and Magnificient Therapy Services.
Speaking on the event, the founder of Worship for Change, Wale Adenuga, said, “To think that we almost did not have this event because of the pandemic but went on to raise over N7.5m to help thousands of children with special needs. We desire to see the donations used to better the lives of the children.”
